Wise Words

"Diverse children have their different natures: some are like flesh which nothing but salt will keep from putrefaction (to corrupt, rot), some again like tender fruits that are best preserved with sugar. Those parents are wise that can fit their nurture to their nature."
Taken from the book
Beyond Stateliest Marble: The Passionate Femininity of Anne Bradstreet
by Douglas Wilson
Excellent book to read, Anne Bradstreet glorified God as a wife and mother.

Breakfast for Dinner

We had omlettes for dinner a few days ago. I think they tasted better in the evening than in the morning. This may be because I am not fully awake to make a full breakfast. Our omlettes were made with ham, mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper, and cheese. They were delicious! We had breakfast for dinner to use up the eggs. Now that we have chickens we have fresh eggs daily. We collect between 8 to 12 eggs a day.

Rogue Shadow

This is Mason's latest Lego project.
He has established quite a collection of ships.
